Sales

While we continue the work on our new shopping cart (“Shop” tab above), please feel free to take a short cut and e-mail us at sales@diamondage.co.nz if you’d rather let us know what you want in person. We send NZ deliveries by courier and can ship internationally by NZ Post slowboat, airmail (the standard option for all except our special Paypal rainbow pack offers) or international courier (their rates and delivery times are here – Sending internationally | New Zealand Post) . As there are a range of options and we don’t want you to pay more than necessary, we’ll quote your delivery costs individually if asked.

We accept payment by Paypal, CC (via Paypal Guest without an account), transfer to our ASB account, and international SWIFT payment. If you come to the office we even take that old-fashioned folding stuff.

For Our American Friends

Our 3mm PLA filament is available in the US exclusively through our good friends Printbl, in 1kg spools, with 1.75mm and ABS on the way.

If you’re using imperial measurement, one 100m roll of 3mm PLA or ABS weighs approximately 2lbs. A 500m spool weighs approximately 9lbs. 100m of 1.75mm PLA or ABS weighs about 10oz. Airmail from NZ to the USA for 2lbs is about NZ$27 and for 9lbs is about NZ$84 – I’d give you the price in US$ but the rates keep fluctuating. Google will also do the weight and currency conversions for you!

We are happy to entertain large orders elsewhere, but thanks to shipping charges the economics of resale don’t work out until you hit around 500kg or half a ton.

Hi, how much is shipping for either a 500m or 750m roll of 1.75mm clear PLA to Wellington? Thanks….

    Kind regards,
    George

It squeaks in under the 5kg so that’s NZ$6 for the courier. Please e-mail me what size you want ASAP as I’m just doing another batch of spools.

Hi, we have a 1.75mm capable mendel, but your shop is currently only selling 3mm filament. You list 1.75mm in your sales section but no option to purchase.

We would be interested in purchasing the 10 roll rainbow pack in 1.75, shipping would be to Perth, Western Australia can you please supply details

    • admin permalink

Certainly we can – and I hope to have those details properly on the site soon. But for now the PLA is NZ$300 and the airmail postage is NZ$33 making a repetitive NZ$333 total. Please e-mail our “sales” account at diamondage.co.nz with delivery details if you’d like us to raise an e-invoice with a Paypal clicky link on for you.

  3. Hi Vik,
Wondering iff its possible to get spools of 1.75 PLA larger than 100m but less than 500m :-)
With 1.75mm, 100m does not really go that far but 500 is a bit to pricey if I want to get a few colours . somewhere around 250m would be a nice midpoint

Hi I noticed that you sell hotends. I am in need of a PTFE rods (16mm). Would you be able to sell them individually?

    • I have only enough 16mm PTFE for one hot end in stock (we’ve switched to 18mm), but will try to get more. How much do you need?

      Vik :v)

    Hi Vik
The hot end resistor just broke on my Huxley. Do you have any in stock?

Also, I noticed you are coming down to Wellington for Fab8. Will you be bronging any stock with you?
    Graeme

    • Yes, we have some 6R8 3W in stock with the same approximate dimensions. A couple of kiwibucks or so a piece if I recall correctly. E-mail me if you’re just after one or two, or the website will add courier charges and post is probably OK for those little things :)

I’ll be coming to FAB8 for the whole week, and I will have stock in the car but it’s not really a set-up-your-stall type of event.

Hi, could you kindly let me know the shipping charges to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia? Thinking of picking up 5 x 100m rolls from you guys.

    Thanks!

    Peter.

    • Sending 5 off 3mm x 100m rolls to Malaysia would be NZ$87 for the airmail, plus NZ$33 per roll. How does that sound?

      Vik :v)

Hi, Do you know if anyone has tried your PLA with the Rapman printer? I would like to try as your material is quite a bit cheeper than theirs.

I’m happy to provide tuning profiles as necessary if you send me a sample.

    Thanks,
    Mat Jury

  9. Sooty permalink

Hi there, I am very interested in building a 3D printer, what would you recommend, approx. cost and can you supply the required parts

    Thanks

    Sooty

    Westie

    • Well, it just so happens that Tim at Mindkits and myself are about to start doing just that. As you’re out West, why not pop into the Henderson office some time and I’ll show you some of the machines we help people build here in the workshops? At the moment a fully supervised build with all parts and you walking away with a working 3D printer is NZ$1,000. We can sell you the bits for less and leave you to it if you like.

  10. Doug permalink

    Hi
Can you do a Kit of printed parts for a Prusa iteration three Box Build? so far prices I have found for these have been a lot more than the cost of materials.

    • Certainly, if you e-mail “sales” at our diamondage.co.nz address and show us exactly which file you would like printed they’ll quote you for one. We charge $160 per kg plus $1 per piece.
